Venice [ENA] Venice crowned its new queen during a spectacular evening that will be remembered as one of the most historic moments in the competition's journey. On September 12, the elegant Palazzo Vendramin Calergi, home of the Venice Casino, hosted the grand finale of the 16th edition of Miss Venice Beach.

The gala brought together the 24 finalists selected throughout the summer tour, concluding months of competitions, training, and personal development. In the days before the final, the contestants also participated in the traditional educational reality program held at Villa Sambuco in Preganziol, near Treviso. Throughout the experience, the young women strengthened their communication skills, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. On the final runway, they demonstrated not only beauty and elegance but also character, determination, and a deep connection to the Veneto region, values that have always defined the Miss Venice Beach project.

The title of Miss Venice Beach 2026 was awarded to seventeen-year-old Maddalena Rossi from Venice. Her natural elegance, authenticity, and confident performance impressed both the audience and the jury. After a series of presentations and evaluations, she was recognized as the contestant who best embodied the spirit of the competition. Her victory represents the culmination of a journey that began during the summer selections in Jesolo, Caorle, Venice Lido, Bibione, and Sottomarina. It also marks the beginning of a new chapter as she prepares to represent Miss Venice Beach through events, promotional initiatives, and cultural activities over the next year.

The Venice Lido selection proved to be the most successful stage of the entire season, producing an unprecedented result. All four contestants elected during that event went on to earn national titles, confirming the exceptional level of competition. Even more remarkably, the overall winner, Maddalena Rossi, also emerged from the Venice Lido stage. For the first time in the history of Miss Venice Beach, Venice Lido has produced the competition's absolute winner, a milestone that makes this edition particularly memorable while highlighting a stage capable of combining local identity, tradition, and talent.

Alongside the main crown, several partner titles were awarded during the evening. Giada Rigoni received the Miss EYWA Sport & Spa sash, Matilde Ronchi earned the Leonardo Gioielli title, Anna Rossi was named Miss Consorzio Sigillo Italiano, Alessandra Giulia Zava received the Radio Wow award, Celeste Zurna became Miss PGK, Bianca Baretti was awarded the Costantini Glass Beads title, and Alice Volpato was elected Miss I Pescaori. Lara Palermo received the title of Miss Social in recognition of the content and communication work she produced throughout the reality experience. Together, these awards reflected the strong partnership between the competition and some of Veneto's leading organizations.

Held under the patronage of the Veneto Region and supported by the Municipality of Venice, Vela, and Città in Festa, the final represented the culmination of a project that extended far beyond a traditional beauty pageant. During the summer, the initiative connected seaside destinations, businesses, professionals, and young contestants in a multifaceted experience focused on growth and opportunity. The evening opened with a choreography created by Sara Giurin, featuring all 24 finalists alongside outgoing Miss Venice Beach Gabriela Gotuleac and dancers Camilla Baldini, Ilenia Cavinato, Thomas Morpurgo, and Simone Berto.

One of the evening's defining objectives was to showcase the individuality of every contestant. The competition emphasized far more than beauty and poise, placing equal importance on communication skills, self-confidence, personality, and stage presence. Along the sixteen-meter runway built inside Palazzo Vendramin Calergi, the finalists alternated between presentations and fashion appearances, demonstrating the progress achieved throughout the season and during the intensive reality program that preceded the final. The experience allowed them to challenge themselves, grow professionally, and gain valuable exposure before cameras, judges, and live audiences.

Fashion and craftsmanship played a prominent role during the event through collaborations with Costantini GlassBeads and Leonardo Gioielli. The handcrafted glass creations celebrated Venice's renowned artistic heritage, while the jewelry collections added refinement and elegance to the runway. These partnerships were not conceived simply as sponsorships but as meaningful components of the evening's narrative, reflecting Miss Venice Beach's longstanding commitment to promoting local excellence and strengthening ties with the region's entrepreneurial and artisan communities.

The gala dinner was equally dedicated to celebrating Italian excellence. From the welcome aperitif to the final course, guests enjoyed products sourced from respected Italian producers and supply chains. Dairy specialties were provided by Latteria Soligo, a Veneto company with more than 140 years of history. Seafood and shellfish came from IPescaori of Caorle, while premium Fassone beef from the Piedmontese breed was served under Italy's National Livestock Quality Certification System. The menu reinforced one of the event's central themes: highlighting the quality, authenticity, and heritage of Italian production.

Hosting the evening was Elisa Bagordo, founder, presenter, and patron of Miss Venice Beach, who has guided the competition since its creation in 2010. Her vision and leadership have transformed the event from a beauty contest into a cultural and territorial project recognized throughout Veneto. Alongside her, talent scout Federica Driusso and team members Giampietro Meneghini, Katia Cosmo, and Giorgia Muzzio ensured a high standard of professionalism and organization throughout the season. Special appreciation was also extended to patron Renato Trincanato for his continued commitment to promoting the region and supporting initiatives that unite beauty, culture, and community.

The show blended competition rounds, entertainment, presentations, and awards while maintaining the television-style format that distinguishes the entire project. Taking part in the evening were also the titleholders who represented the 2026 edition throughout the year: Dajana Saric, Anna Capriello, Marta Maria Todaro, Diletta Zordan, Mariasole Susanna, Matilde Marcon, Virginia Poppi, and Camilla Mormile. Their ongoing presence helps promote the competition through public appearances and special events. Musical entertainment was provided by singer-songwriter Francesco Bisti, known professionally as "Creiv," winner of the competition's music contest, accompanied by DJ Enrico Manzi.

Recognition was also presented to Treviso photographer Luca Alpago, winner of the 2026 photography challenge. Throughout the summer tour, participating photographers were invited to capture both the contestants and the atmosphere of Miss Venice Beach through their own creative vision. The winner was selected through a combination of professional evaluation and public voting via social media, creating an engaging connection between the audience and the artistic side of the project.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of beauty and image professionals played a crucial role in preparing the finalists. Hairstyling for the grand finale was provided by Salone Dalla Bella, Inside Out Veneziani, Skultura, and Maison Valerio of Vicenza, while makeup was entrusted to Luana Burigotto and the students of her academy. Their support accompanied the contestants from the first selections in Jesolo to the final night in Venice, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout the season.

The grand finale concluded an edition developed over several months and enriched by a wide range of experiences. From beachside selections and reality-program activities to talent showcases, training opportunities, gastronomic initiatives, sports, communication projects, fashion events, and territorial discovery, every stage contributed to a broader mission centered on personal growth and cultural promotion. The success of the 2026 edition was made possible thanks to the dedication of the entire Miss Venice Beach team and the support of main partners EYWA Sport & Spa, PGK, Consorzio Sigillo Italiano, Radio Wow, Costantini GlassBeads, and Leonardo Gioielli.

With the election of Maddalena Rossi, the sixteenth edition of Miss Venice Beach officially comes to a close. Its legacy extends far beyond the titles awarded on the final night, encompassing months of experiences, training opportunities, professional encounters, and personal growth. The project continues to distinguish itself through its unique combination of competition, education, and real-world experience, offering young women meaningful opportunities to develop skills, build confidence, and prepare for future challenges. This commitment to personal development remains one of the defining hallmarks of the Miss Venice Beach format.

Attention now turns to the 17th edition, scheduled for summer 2027. New locations, new contestants, and new stories will join the same passion that has driven the project for sixteen years. Miss Venice Beach continues to grow, promote the identity and beauty of the Veneto region, and provide a platform for talented young women willing to challenge themselves and pursue new opportunities. After an edition of such significance, anticipation for the next chapter has already begun.
